I didn’t plan on trying another flavor this soon. After testing the strawberry, vanilla, and chocolate ones earlier (I already wrote about those in my last piece ), I felt like I had a pretty good idea of what this protein powder was like.
But then I saw the Maple Cheesecake Farmer Protein and I paused.

Maple is one of those flavors that can go very wrong very quickly. It can taste artificial, overly sweet, or just strange in a protein drink. But I’ve liked everything else from them so far, so I gave it a week.
First Look
This is how it arrived and honestly, the packaging already gives you a certain expectation. It feels more like something you’d keep on your kitchen counter rather than hide in a cabinet.
The Maple Cheesecake protein flavor sits alongside the others, but this one immediately felt more like a “treat” flavor compared to the basics.
Why I Tried This One
The other three flavors were easy. Strawberry felt fresh, vanilla was flexible, chocolate was comforting.
This one felt like a risk.
I was curious if it could actually taste like something close to maple and not just a sugary version of it. Also, I wanted something that didn’t feel repetitive after a few mornings.
What It Actually Is
This is still the same base as the others. Each serving gives you 24g of protein along with grass-fed whey, collagen peptides, colostrum, hemp protein and prebiotic fiber. Nothing really changes nutritionally here, which is why this Farmer Protein powder review comes down more to how the Maple Cheesecake protein flavor fits into your routine rather than what’s inside it.
Day 1 Reaction
First, I mixed it with cold milk. I didn't want to mess up the first try by adding water.
The first sip was... surprisingly normal.

Not too sweet. Not fake. The maple flavor is there, but it's not like syrup on pancakes. It's more like a hint of it. The cheesecake part isn't real either; it just makes the flavor a little creamier.
I honestly thought I was going to feel like I was drinking dessert but I didn't.
How It Felt Over 7 Days
This is where things got more exciting.
On the third day, I started to look forward to it. Usually, protein powders don't do that. I drink them most of the time because I have to, not because I want to.
It worked best in the mornings when I didn't want to eat anything heavy. This is where it fits into the "protein powder for a quick breakfast" group.
Not a full breakfast but enough to fill you up and keep you going.
Some days, I just had it. On some days, I added ice and made it a little thicker by blending it. It stays strong no matter what.
Taste Test
I kept trying to remember what it made me think of.
It's not very strong maple syrup. It smells more like pancakes than it tastes, which is warm and a little sweet. The cheesecake part just makes it better.
In comparison to the other three:
- Strawberry still tastes the best.
- Vanilla is still the easiest to mix.
- Chocolate feels like it is heavier.
Does It Actually Work
It made me feel full longer than just coffee. I didn't get that mid-morning crash when you suddenly realize you haven't eaten.
Nothing big. Just steady energy.
Where It Fits
I wouldn't use this after a workout or as a meal replacement for a big meal.
When you don't feel like cooking, you're running late, or you just need something quick that doesn't feel like a chore, it works best.
This is where this review of Farmer Protein powder really makes sense. It fits into real life, not perfect life.
What I Liked
- The taste is different enough from regular protein powders.
- Not too thick and easy to drink
- Works well with just milk or mixed in
- Doesn't leave that fake taste behind
What I Didn’t Love
- This might not be strong enough for you if you want a strong maple flavor.
- It doesn't fill you up enough to be a full meal.
- You still have to mix it, so it's not ready to consume right away.
Final Thoughts
I didn’t expect to like this as much as I did. Maple Cheesecake Farmer Protein sounded like it could go wrong, but it ended up being one of the easier flavors to keep using.
It’s not something you’ll obsess over, but it’s something you’ll keep reaching for without thinking too much about it.
